Founding Beta · Private and approval-based

Motivation through accountability.

The Lodosia beta is a small, private program for people who want to pursue a real goal with accountability partners and help shape the app before launch. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and access is granted only after approval.

Why Lodosia?

Accountability that motivates.

Lodosia is inspired by the Greek word logodosia, meaning accountability. We believe accountability is more than answering for what you do—it can be a powerful source of motivation. Lodosia helps people commit to meaningful goals, stay connected to accountability partners, and follow through together.

That is what the beta is for: real people, real goals, and accountability partners who keep each other moving. Misses and comebacks are part of the picture. Nobody is being graded, and nobody is being watched.

How the beta works

Apply, get reviewed, then commit to 30 days.

Lodosia is pre-release software. The beta is deliberately small so every tester's experience counts.

  1. 1

    Apply

Tell us who you are, which phone you use, and whether you want to lead a team or join one. It takes about two minutes.

  2. 2

    Rolling review

Applications are reviewed as they come in. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, and the beta is not open to the public.

  3. 3

    Approval and access

Approved testers receive platform-specific instructions later: a private TestFlight invitation on iPhone, or Google Play Closed Testing on Android.

  4. 4

At least 30 days of real use

Pursue a genuine goal for a minimum of 30 days and share what you learn. Reaching 30 days ends nothing. Testers are welcome to keep going.

Choose your beta role

Team Owner or Team Member?

The beta needs both. Pick the experience you most want to test. Your choice tells us what you would like to try; it does not create a team or grant access on its own.

Team Owner

Lead the challenge

You are interested in creating or leading an accountability team or challenge: setting the commitments, choosing proof and Geo Check-in rules, inviting people, and keeping your own commitments alongside them.

  • Create a team and a challenge
  • Configure tasks, proof, and location rules
  • Invite and support your members
Team Member

Join and follow through

You are interested primarily in joining a team or challenge and living the accountability-partner experience: checking in on Today, adding proof when a task calls for it, and encouraging the group.

  • Join a team with an invite code
  • Complete commitments and add proof
  • Follow the feed, progress, and leaderboard

Want to lead but have no team yet? Apply as a Team Owner anyway. We may pair owners with members during the beta.

Before you apply

What testers agree to.

Plain language, short enough to read in full. Your application confirms you have read and understood these points.

  • Pre-release software. Bugs and interruptions may occur, and beta data may occasionally need maintenance or a reset. Please do not rely on the beta for anything safety-critical.
  • A real goal for at least 30 days. Use Lodosia naturally. Misses, recoveries, and interruptions are exactly what we need to see. Nobody is scored as a tester.
  • Useful feedback. Report bugs, confusing behavior, and what is missing. Occasional short check-ins, never long recurring surveys.
  • Respect for others. Team and member privacy matter, and abuse of other testers is not acceptable.
  • You can leave, and Lodosia can end participation. Either can happen at any point. The beta does not promise compensation, permanent free access, or that any feature will stay.
  • How your details are used. Your application and contact details are used only to run the beta: reviewing applications, sending platform invitations, and following up on feedback. Beta program records are kept for 12 months after your participation ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Apply to the Founding Beta.

Every field marked required is needed to review your application and, if you are approved, to send the right platform invitation. Applying does not grant access.

What happens after you apply:

  • Your application is pending review
  • Approved applicants receive platform-specific next steps by email
  • Nothing is installed or unlocked until then

Only want launch updates? Join the launch list instead. The launch list is not a beta application.

Beta FAQ

Common questions about the beta.

Is the beta open to everyone?

No. The Lodosia beta is private and approval-based. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and only approved testers receive access.

Does applying give me the app?

No. Applying places your application in review. Approved applicants receive platform-specific instructions later. Nothing is installed or unlocked by submitting the form.

How will I install the beta if I'm approved?

iPhone testers receive a private Apple TestFlight invitation. Android testers are added to Google Play Closed Testing and install through Google Play. There is no public TestFlight link, no open testing track, and no sideloaded APK.

How long is the commitment?

A minimum of 30 days from the day you become an active tester. Thirty days is a floor, not an end date. You are welcome to keep participating, and your actual end date is recorded only when you truly stop.

What's the difference between Team Owner and Team Member?

Team Owners are interested in creating or leading a team or challenge and testing the owner workflow. Team Members are interested primarily in joining one and testing the accountability-partner experience. Both are real participants with real goals, and choosing a role does not create a team or grant access on its own.

How is this different from the launch list?

The launch list is for launch and early-access updates only. The beta application is a separate, fuller application to test the app now. Joining the launch list never counts as a beta application.

Can I apply for both iPhone and Android?

Apply with the phone you will use most. If you are approved and want to test a second device later, let us know and we will handle it with you directly.
